[Selection trainings 2009-2010]

Afgelopen jaar is Maastricht heren 1 na afwezigheid van 1 jaar gepromoveerd naar de 1ste klasse. De door de club gestelde ambities zijn hoog: boven in meedraaien in deze 1ste klasse en binnen enkele jaren promoveren naar de overgangsklasse. Een doel dat een grote club als Maastricht eigenlijk helemaal niet misstaat.

Om dit doel te bereiken zal een grote en kwalitatief sterke selectie nodig zijn.
Maastricht heren 1 is daarom op zoek naar goede hockeyers die al in Maastricht of omstreken wonen of komend jaar (voor b.v. studie/werk) richting het zuiden komen!

Wie zijn wij?
Wij zijn een relatief jong team, enkel bestaande uit studenten van de universiteit en verschillende hogeschoolinstellingen in de omgeving. Dit wordt incidenteel nog eens aangevuld met jongens uit A1, die zo een mooie springplank hebben voor een hun latere hockeyontwikkeling.
Buiten een felle instelling en echte winnaarsmentaliteit staat ons team ook vooral bekend om onze vriendschap en de nodige gezelligheid (thuis én uit).

Waarom?
Zoals eerder genoemd, bovenin de eerste klasse meedraaien en uiteindelijk promoveren.

Hoe?
Vanaf begin augustus zullen selectietrainingen gaan plaatsvinden.

Last year, Maastricht first men’s team promoted to the 1st class of the Dutch hockey league. The club’s ambitions are high: playing in the upper part of the league and promoting to the ‘overgangsklasse’ within a couple of years. A goal that fits a club like Maastricht.

To reach this goal we will need a big selection with enough quality.
Therefore we are looking for good hockey players who are moving to Maastricht (or are already living there) for work/study/etc.

Who are we?
We are a relative young team, formed mostly of students living Maastricht. We are a fun team to play in, with a lot of party after the match (and sometimes the training, too), but with a strong winner mentality during the match.

Why?
To play in the upper part of the 1ste class. And to promote within a couple of years.

When?
